THE GREAT DIGITAL VS. PALPABLE GAMBLE...

The Setting...

BUNCO NIGHT
(and lots of sangria)

The Debate...

The Split...

50/50

As a writer, I can't help but love a book... a palpable, paper filled, good smelling, one pound miracle with a raised color cover. BUT there are those out there that LOVE their new Kindles all the same. I see nothing wrong with loving either because each has a slew of valid arguements, of which I won't begin to list because by now, we all know what those are.

What I'm interested in is a vote!

I've seen what direction my books sales weight in, and I know what most people are buying these days, but I'm not telling which is more popular: The Book, or the Machine. I just want to know what you think...

I had to vote e-book. It is my new love and my Barnes and Noble nook has renewed my love of reading! EXPONENTIALLY. With 3 young children, I never seemed to have time to read. I got my nook for my birthday this year and haven't put it down yet. I can get the books fast, I always have my 'library' with me so when I finish one, the next one in line is right there and it seems easier to tote around and hold than some of the thick novels I love to read.

That being said - I'll still buy the paper version - the REAL book version, of books I really love and want to see on my physical bookshelves. I do still read my REAL books, but my nook has enabled my reading habit so much , that I don't think I can ever go back to just the 'paper books'!
